Johnathan Gray

President/CEO

Johnathan Gray

It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Phil 1:20-21

Dr. Gray has a long history of faithful stewardship, serving as senior pastor of a local church for several years before joining the Foundation as the Central Area Director of Development. His calling has led him to Fort Worth, Texas and Louisville, Kentucky where he earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Seminary. He led the establishment of the Southern Baptists of Texas Foundation prior to returning to Georgia, and in his studies, he laid the foundations for his current role as GBF President with a doctoral emphasis on church endowment and cooperative missions giving.

With the former responsibility of a pulpit and pastorate, Dr. Gray is available and honored to preach in any worship setting. He is often selected as a keynote speaker for fundraising banquets or to share messages on topics such as: Stewardship and Giving, Christian Legacy, Biblical Tithing, Generational Evangelism, Senior Adults Significance to God’s Kingdom. With a heart to serve, he is also happy to speak on other topics upon request.
